Pitbulls for Sale
We have pit bull puppies for sale. 5 girls and 3 boys. All are registered and have shots, they are available starting today. There are 2 brendle, 4 black , 2 dark fawn/ red nose. I like how they point out they are not willing to budge on the price for their non-registered dogs of questionable origin. Yet somehow they are "beautiful purebred puppies" Love that, they are not purebred if they don't have PAPERS! I would love to see your tracking of the line back through their parents to show they are 'purebred'.

When will people learn purebred means that unless you created the breed yourself you have to have papers? Just because you have two dogs with no papers you THINK is 100% APBT does not mean it is 100% APBT and if it's not 100% it's not purebred.

I wanted to comment on the last ad. Do you think dog needs to have papers to be considered purebred? I am pretty sure my rescue dog is purebred, papers or not ;)
I would disagree that lack of papers means that the dog is not purebred. I am pretty sure my rescue dog is purebred ;)
But again, I would never dream of breeding her...
Ah yes I would like to point out i am using this strictly to address the fact this woman is selling these 'pure-bred' dogs for $400. I agree you can find many dogs that are most likely pure-bred out of adoptions but then they are fixed and can't be bred and so that maybe never comes into question.
Keep in mind the pitbulls that look perfect in conformation but carry the merle gene, these are obviously not pure-bred as merle was never a colour the pitbull possessed past a few years ago.
I can understand dogs that can't be registered as they are not recognised by registries or places where people simply don't have access to normal registries. But again i would expect if someone doesn't paper their dogs to have a list of their background to prove they are pure-bred.
I know many people breeding purebred dogs of field quality and refuse to paper with akc because of how they tend to turn working breeds into froo froo dogs.
How about addressing how the AKC ruins hunting/working dogs? Like the JACK Russell terrier, NOT Parson Russell
